SURPLUS LINE ASSOCIATION OF COLORADO
GENERAL HISTORY AND PURPOSES
The Surplus Line Association of Colorado was originally
formed and commenced operation on January 1, 1982, as a non-profit, non-stock
corporation pursuant to the Colorado Corporation Code, the Colorado Non-profit
Corporation Act of 1961. The purposes, as stated in its Articles of Incorporation.
- To promote, promulgate, and support sound principals and practices
in the transaction of the business of surplus line insurance underwriting
in the State of Colorado;
- To promote and encourage confidence and good feeling among
its members; to promote a high standard of integrity and service by
its members; and,
- To support and promote good public relations.
